Our Story

Cabo Wabo Cantina was born from the vision of Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar, who set out to create a place where live music, legendary margaritas, and great Mexican food come together—all inspired by Sammy’s love for Baja Mexico. What began as a laid-back cantina tucked into the heart of Cabo San Lucas exploded into a world-famous party destination.

The original Cabo Wabo Cantina rocks nightly with a massive stage that hosts unforgettable live performances, including Sammy’s iconic annual Birthday Bash. You never know when you’ll catch Sammy himself jamming with friends like Kenny Chesney, Bob Weir, Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains, or Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Sammy brings the fiesta to the Las Vegas Strip with Cabo Wabo Cantina at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops - where you’ll find a patio prime for partying at the center of all the action. Like Sammy says, where else can you sip on cold beer and margaritas like you’re in Mexico with views of the Eiffel Tower and Fountains of Bellagio? All while taking in some of the best Mexican food you can find, including sizzling fajitas, cheesy chicken enchiladas and Baja-style fish tacos.
