Cabo Wabo Cantina, Sammy Hagar’s rockin’ Strip-side restaurant and patio, located at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, is turning National Tequila Day into a weeklong celebration from Monday, July 22 through Sunday, July 28.

Cabo Wabo will pour a flight of Hagar and Guy Fieri’s own Santo Tequila to start the fiesta, priced at $27.50. The flight will include a shot of each Santo expression – blanco, reposado and añejo. The range showcases the various flavor profiles of the spirit, from the crisp blanco to the satiny reposado and silky añejo.

Cabo Wabo will also feature killer tequila cocktails, including the Tamarind Margarita, crafted with Santo tequila, lime juice, Triple Sec and a house-made tamarind syrup, served on the rocks; and the Cocorita, made with Santo tequila, lime juice and créme of coconut, served on the rocks and rimmed with freshly toasted coconut. El Santo margarita, made with Santo Mezquila, the first tequila-mezcal blend, brings the heat, combining freshly crushed jalapeños, orange and pineapple juices, chipotle pepper and agave, served on the rocks.

Cabo Wabo Cantina combines the relaxed, beach town vibe of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with the thrill of the Las Vegas Strip. Crafted by Executive Chef Tacho Kneeland, the menu features coastal Mexican cuisine with a mouthwatering mix of fresh flavors including Sammy’s Tequila Shrimp, made with Baja shrimp and a housemade tequila-lime sauce, and fiesta-worthy shareables like fundido de queso con chorizo, made with a blend of Oaxaca, Asiago, Cotija and provolone cheeses, among other crowd favorites.

Bringing the flavors of Puerto Rico to the Las Vegas Strip, the refreshing Sunset Dreams cocktail is made with Sammy’s Beach Bar platinum rum, orange curaçao, grenadine, Coco Lopez, orange and pineapple juices, topped with a can of Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co.’s tangerine dream flavored sparkling rum cocktail. Priced at $22.50, the Sunset Dreams cocktail will be available from Monday, Aug. 12 through Sunday, Aug. 18 in honor of National Creamsicle Day on Wednesday, Aug. 14 and National Rum Day on Friday, Aug. 16.

Cabo Wabo’s signature cocktails made with Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum will also be featured to honor National Rum Day. The extensive menu includes Maui Rocker, made with Sammy’s Beach Bar platinum rum, orange curacao, pineapple juice, grenadine and sweet and sour; the CW Mai Tai, made with Sammy’s Beach Bar platinum rum, Sailor Jerry rum, orgeat, tropical juices and grenadine, topped with a float of Myers’s Rum; Sammy’s Toasted Colada, a combination of Sammy’s Beach Bar platinum rum, Coco Lopez and pineapple juice, served on the rocks in a glass garnished with freshly toasted coconut and Can’t Drive 55, a combination of Cabo Wabo Blanco tequila, Sammy’s Beach Bar platinum rum, vodka, gin, lime, orange, pineapple and cranberry juice, topped with Disaronno Amaretto.

As Las Vegas warms up, Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, is ready to beat the heat with new summer sangrias. The seasonal menu offers traditional rojo and classic blanco sangrias, plus an assortment of palate-pleasing fruit combinations to create eight refreshing options, available now.

The new sangrias will join Cabo’s rockin’ menu of signature cocktails, each one photo-worthy and sippable while taking in the panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip from the cantina’s patio. The red wine sangria options include the Tarantula, made with Cointreau, mango, orange, lemon and lime; the Rey de Vino, made with brandy, pear and ginger; and the Tesoro, which combines Galiano, Pernod, saffron, strawberry and lemon. The white wine selections include the Borracha, which mixes Midori, watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe and lemon; the Scorpion, with blackberry brandy, strawberry and mint leaves; and the Paraiso, featuring Grand Marnier, pineapple, orange, coconut and lime. To celebrate the season of love, Sammy Hagar’s rockin’ spot will offer its limited-time-only El Beso, or The Kiss, cocktail made with Cruzan Strawberry Rum, Passoã passion fruit liqueur, soda water, strawberries and mint leaves, served in a 26-ounce hurricane glass ideal for two and priced at $19.

Tackle the big game at Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, with an all-you-can-eat-and-drink big game viewing party on Sunday, Feb. 11.

The Big Game fiesta will include tailgate-style favorites such as homemade guacamole and chips; the nacho platter with a house cheese blend, beans, jalapeños, queso sauce, cotija cheese, sour cream and guacamole; chicken wings; macaroni and cheese; carne asada and chicken sliders; and churro and brownie bites, among others.
