Beginning Friday at noon, Sammy Hagar’s rockin’ cantina will transform into the ultimate Cinco de Mayo celebration with live music on the Strip-side patio. Revelers will raise a toast to the fiesta by indulging in the La Bandera, a 24-ounce daiquiri that will honor the colors of the Mexican flag with red, white and green daiquiri flavors, priced at $19. To keep the three-day party flowing, guests may enjoy Dos Equis beer buckets, priced at $21 and fireball shots, priced at $5.

Cabo Wabo Cantina inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood will offer a 20 percent discount for active duty military members and veterans in honor of National Military Appreciation Month in May.
Military men and women will receive a 20 percent discount on all rockin’ food and drinks when they present their current military ID at the Strip’s hottest cantina. Service members will indulge in Cabo Wabo’s savory Baja-Mex dishes including the new chicken sabana, a grilled chicken breast pounded paper thin and stacked with beans, melted Mexican cheeses, chorizo, chimichurri, caramelized onions and pico de gallo; and Sammy’s tequila shrimp made with Baja shrimp, garlic and Cabo Wabo tequila lime-sauce, served with Mexican dirty rice.

Red Rocker followers will join the fun and festivities of the album release party at Hagar’s rockin’ cantina with $10 Sammy’s Red Head Mai Tais made with macadamia infused Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, Orgeat, tropical juices, fresh lime juice and topped with a drizzle of Sammy’s Red Head Beach Bar Rum. Partygoers will experience a jam-packed weekend of fiestas and fights at the rockin’ cantina when chair chugs, shot skis, wheel spins and piñata smashings invade the venue’s Strip-side patio. Celebrators that purchase a bottle of Dos Equis or Cazadores shot will be granted the opportunity to take a swing at one of several festive piñatas filled with candy, T-shirts and Cabo Wabo merchandise.
