LIFE JUST GOT A LOT HAPPIER WITH CABO WABO CANTINA’S NEW ‘HALF-OFF HAPPY HOUR’

Cabo Wabo Cantina has introduced a new “Half-Off Happy Hour” offered Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. The happy hour includes specials on appetizers, house margaritas, sangria, shots of Cabo Wabo tequila and draft beer.

Appetizer selections include Cabo Wabo’s appetizer sampler, loaded with taquitos, mini chimichangas, wings, cheese quesadillas, a nacho skillet, guacamole and salsa arbol, priced at $13.50 during happy hour; the queso fundido con chorizo, a trio of melted Mexican cheese, chorizo and served with warm tortillas and pico de gallo, priced at $5.50 during happy hour; and the nacho platter, crispy tortilla chips topped with an array of cheese, beans, jalapeños, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole, priced at $7.50 during happy hour.

Guests can also enjoy half-off the classic Cabo Wabo house margarita, crafted with traditional 100 percent Blue Agave tequila, priced at $5 during happy hour. Other specials include half-priced sangria, shots of Cabo Wabo tequila and draft beer.

CABO WABO CANTINA TO HOST VIEWING PARTY FOR HIGHLY ANTICIPATED UFC 202 TITLE FIGHT IN AUGUST

 

Cabo Wabo Cantina will host one of the most highly anticipated viewing parties of the summer for the upcoming Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) title fights, including the action-packed battle between Nate Diaz and Conor “The Notorious” McGregor in UFC 202 on Saturday, Aug. 20.

UFC 202 will include an undisputed world welterweight title championship bout between Diaz and McGregor in Las Vegas. Having previously lost the title to Diaz in UFC 196, McGregor now has a second shot in the rematch making UFC 202 one of the biggest UFC cards of 2016.

Cabo Wabo will also broadcast UFC 203, a tension-filled show-off for the world heavyweight title championship bout between Stipe Miocic and Alistair “The Reem” Overeem on Saturday, Sept. 10 in Cleveland, Ohio. Overeem will have an opportunity to take the title from current champion, Miocic.

CABO WABO CANTINA TO KEEP THE TEQUILA FLOWING IN HONOR OF NATIONAL TEQUILA DAY

One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, more! Cabo Wabo Cantina will celebrate National Tequila Day with a week of shot specials from Monday, July 18 to Sunday, July 24.

The rockin’ Strip-side cantina will offer 50 percent off of select tequila shots, including Cabo Wabo, Maestro Dobel, 1800, Partida and Espolón.  Guests can also enjoy signature tequila cocktails including the CW Margarita, a blend of signature Cabo Wabo tequila and Grand Marnier; priced at $13; and the newly introduced Cabo Wabo Skinny Margarita, a classic taste of premium Cabo Wabo tequila, lime and sweet agave nectar, priced at $10.

Cabo Wabo Cantina will host one of the most highly anticipated viewing parties of the year for the upcoming Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) title fights, including the action-packed battle between Daniel “DC” Cormier and Jon “Bones” Jones in UFC 200 on Saturday, July 9.

UFC 200 will include an undisputed light heavyweight title championship bout between Cormier and Jones in Las Vegas. Originally scheduled for UFC 197, an injury to champion Cormier delayed the title fight. Now with the removal of McGregor, the fight is back on and is predicted to go down in history as one of the best.

UFC 200 will also showcase a heavyweight title championship bout between Brock Lesnar and Mark “Super Samoan” Hunt. This will be Lesnar’s first fight back in the cage since December 2011, but doesn’t mark a full return to Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).

Cabo Wabo will also broadcast UFC 201, a tension-filled show-off for the world welterweight title championship bout between Robbie “Ruthless” Lawler and Tyron “The Chosen One” Woodley on Saturday, July 30 in Atlanta, Georgia. Lawler has won his last five fights, and will be competing against Woodley, who has won four of his last five bouts.

Cabo Wabo Cantina will celebrate Father’s Day with a specialty cocktail for all fathers on Sunday, June 19.

The hard-rockin’ cantina will offer the “Paparita,” a specialty margarita crafted with Cabo Wabo tequila, Grand Marnier and finished with a miniature Dos Equis bottle, priced at $13. Fathers may also choose from a variety of Cabo Wabo’s new signature menu items including the Cabo Wabo chimichanga, made with picadillo beef, mixed cheese, queso sauce and fresh guacamole, priced at $17.95; the short rib beef barbacoa tacos, made with beef short rib served in corn tortillas, and topped with salsa arbol, avocado, cilantro and onions, priced at 15.95; and the surf and turf, a 12-ounce New York steak grilled over an open flame, topped with Sammy’s tequila shrimp and served with papas and chorizo, priced at $36.95.

CABO WABO CANTINA TO RAISE A GLASS TO THE ELECTRIC SKY WITH DRINK SPECIALS DURING EDC WEEKEND

Start the party at Cabo Wabo Cantina! The Strip-side party destination will celebrate Electric Daisy Carnival weekend with daiquiri specials from Friday, June 17 through Sunday, June 19.

Cabo Wabo will offer the Daisy Daiquiri, a combination of the Vida Loca daiquiri, made with guava, pineapple and coconut flavors; and the 3-Way daiquiri, a refreshing blend of berry flavors. The Daisy Daiquiri will be available exclusively at Cabo Wabo’s daiquiri bar, and is priced starting at $10. Guests may also enjoy the daiquiri bar’s signature flavors including margarita, strawberry and piña colada.

CABO WABO CANTINA TO TREAT MOMS TO COMPLIMENTARY “MOM-MOSA” OR “MAMA-RITA” ON MOTHER’S DAY

Mother knows best! Cabo Wabo Cantina will reward moms by offering a complimentary “mom-mosa” or “mama-rita” with the purchase of one entrée to all mothers from 8 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 8.

The hard-rockin’ cantina will let moms choose between the “mama-rita,” a specialty margarita crafted with Cabo Wabo tequila, Grand Marnier and finished with a miniature Dos Equis bottle or a signature or blood orange “mom-mosa.” To receive the special offer, all moms must be accompanied by another adult, age 18 or older.

A variety of Cabo Wabo’s signature breakfast selections will also be available including the CW eggs Benedict, made with layers of machaca, chorizo and poached eggs on an English muffin, topped with melted pepper-jack cheese and hollandaise, priced at $13.95; huevos rancheros, a delicious combination of crispy corn tortillas, queso sauce, cheddar cheese, jack cheese, ranchero sauce, and two fried eggs, priced at $11.95; the croissant French toast, a freshly-baked croissant classically prepared into French toast, topped with warm maple syrup, fresh berries, powdered sugar and whipped cream, priced at $10.95.

Olé! Cabo Wabo Cantina will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with drink specials, live music and more on its Strip-side patio on Thursday, May 5.

Drink specials will include the Cabo flight, three sample shots of different Cabo Wabo tequilas, including blanco, reposado and anejo, priced at $21; a variety of ice-cold cervezas and signature margaritas including the mango picante margarita, a refreshing blend of jalapeño, mango, Cabo Wabo blanco tequila, triple sec and sweet and sour, priced at $14. Live music on the patio will begin at 7 p.m., and will continue late into the evening.

Cabo Wabo will also serve its signature Cabo San Lucas-inspired dishes including the nacho platter, crafted with a house cheese blend, refried beans, jalapeño, Cotija cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole, priced at $14.95; and the grilled chicken tacos made with grilled chicken, salsa arbol, avocado, corn tortillas, cilantro and onions, priced at $14.95.

CABO WABO CANTINA TO HOST UFC VIEWING PARTY FOR MCGREGOR VS. DOS ANJOS TITLE FIGHT IN MARCH

Cabo Wabo Cantina will host action-packed viewing parties for upcoming Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) title fights, including one of the highly anticipated showdown between Rafael dos Anjos and Conor “The Notorious” McGregor in UFC 196 on Saturday, March 5, and the tension-filled battle between Daniel “DC” Cormier and Jon “Bones” Jones 2 in UFC 197, on Saturday, April 23.

UFC 196 will include a world lightweight title championship bout between dos Anjos and McGregor in Las Vegas. McGregor took the featherweight title in a record-breaking UFC 194 bout, and has moved up a weight class to challenge lightweight champion dos Anjos, making UFC 196 one of the most action-packed fights of the year.  UFC 197 will feature a world light heavyweight title rematch bout between Cormier and Jones. Jones previously won the title against Cormier in January 2015, but was stripped of the title last April.

 

The championship bouts will be shown in Cabo Wabo’s private upstairs lounge, The LOFT, on numerous flat-panel big-screen TVs, including a 201-inch projector, a 192-inch flat screen and two 80-inch high-definition TVs.
