Cabo Wabo Cantina will honor Veterans Day with a twenty percent off drink special for veterans and active-duty military on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Cabo Wabo will invite all veterans and active-duty service members with a valid military ID to enjoy twenty percent off cocktails in honor of Veterans Day. Some selections include Cabo Wabo’s signature Vojito, handcrafted with Devotion Black and Blue vodka, fresh berries, fresh mint and lime juice, priced at $13; the Cocorita, made with Cabo Wabo Blanco tequila, lime juice, crème of coconut, served on the rocks and rimmed with freshly toasted coconut, priced at $14; and the CW Mai Tai, blended with Sammy’s Beach Bar rum, Captain Morgan, Orgeat, orange Curacao, tropical juices, grenadine and topped with a float of Myer’s rum, priced at $14. Cabo Wabo Cantina Gears Up for Hockey Season

 

Cabo Wabo Cantina will celebrate throughout hockey season with viewing parties for professional hockey games beginning Wednesday, Oct. 3.

Showing support for Vegas’ home team, Cabo Wabo bartenders will mix up the ‘Golden Mule’ cocktail, handcrafted with vodka, St. Germain, mango puree, pineapple juice and fresh lime juice, topped with ginger beer, priced at $12. Dos Equis beer buckets, priced at $23, will also be available.

Games will be shown throughout the cantina on flat-panel big-screen TVs, including a 200-inch video grid, a 200-inch projection screen, a 110-inch high-definition TV, two 80-inch high-definition TVs and 25 high-definition TVs, visible from any seat in the restaurant.

Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Cabo Wabo Cantina Throughout October

Drink for pink! Cabo Wabo Cantina will show support for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donating a portion of the proceeds from each Vojito cocktail purchase to Susan G. Komen of Southern Nevada throughout the month of October.

From Monday, Oct. 1, through Wednesday, Oct. 31, Cabo Wabo will donate $1 from each Vojito sale to Susan G. Komen of Southern Nevada, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds to provide breast health education, screening and treatment services to medically underserved women in the area. Cabo Wabo’s original Vojito is handcrafted with Devotion Black and Blue vodka, fresh blackberries, blueberries, lime and mint, priced at $13. Guests who purchase a Vojito will receive a complimentary pink rubber wristband to continue to spread awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and may purchase the souvenir glass for an additional $10.

Cabo Wabo Cantina to Host Game Day Football Fiestas Throughout NFL Season

 

Touchdowns and tequila! Cabo Wabo Cantina will host game day parties during regular season professional football games and select college football games beginning Thursday, Sept. 6; and the big game on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019.

Fans can cheer on their favorite teams shown on flat-panel big-screen TVs, including a 200-inch video grid, a 200-inch projection screen, a 110-inch high-definition TV, two 80-inch high-definition TVs and 25 high-definition TVs throughout the cantina.  Drink specials will include beer buckets of Dos Equis, priced at $23.

For Sunday night games, Cabo Wabo will become football central, featuring a Football Fiesta from 5 to 9 p.m. during regular season games. The football-fueled parties will feature five beers, with choice of Heinekin, Dos Equis or Dos Equis Amber; and five shots of Espolòn Blanco tequila for $55.

Cabo Wabo Cantina to Celebrate Mexican Independence Day with Traditional Mexican Dishes

Viva Mexico! Cabo Wabo Cantina will celebrate Mexican Independence Day by serving an authentic Mexican platter offered exclusively from Friday, Sept. 14 to Sunday, Sept. 16.

Executive Chef Tacho Kneeland has created a traditional Mexican grilled platter, parrillada, made with BBQ pork ribs, carne asada, achiote chicken and chorizo, served with grilled onions, jalapeños, rice, beans and flour tortillas, priced at $28.95 for an individual serving and $46.95 for a shareable serving for two people. The barbecue platter can be paired with Cabo Wabo’s original fundido de queso con chorizo, made with a trio of Mexican cheese, melted on a skillet with Cabo’s house chorizo.

Sip, sip, hooray! Cabo Wabo Cantina will celebrate Labor Day Weekend with a holiday-themed cocktail, beer buckets and shot flights all weekend from Friday, Aug. 31 through Monday, Sept. 3.

Sammy Hagar’s rockin’ cantina will serve the All-American cocktail, made with a blend of Absolut Citron, simple syrup, sweet and sour, Sprite, grenadine and blue curaçao, priced at $13. Strip-side celebrators may also enjoy Cabo Wabo’s Dos Equis beer buckets, priced at $23; and CW tequila flights, comprised of three one-ounce shots of Cabo Wabo’s blanco, reposado and añejo tequila, priced at $22.

Thirsty Thursday takes a twist for National Rum Day! Cabo Wabo Cantina will celebrate National Rum Day with a selection of refreshing rum cocktails on Thursday, August 16.

The Strip-side party cantina will serve a variety of  signature rum cocktails including the Painkiller, made with a tropical blend of Bacardi Cuatro, Coco Lopez, fresh orange juice and pineapple juice, priced at $14. Rum lovers can also enjoy additional house made libations including Sammy’s Toasted Colada, made with Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, Coco Lopez swirled with pineapple juice, garnished with freshly toasted coconut, priced at $14; and the Bahama Mama made with a fruity mix of Malibu rum, banana liqueur, orange juice and pineapple juice, priced at $14.

Summer cocktails are back at Cabo Wabo Cantina! In celebration of the summer season, Cabo Wabo has created an array of new summer cocktails.

New summer cocktails that have been created by Cabo Wabo’s bartenders include the Shark Tank, a shareable cocktail made with Absolut Lime vodka, Blue Curacao liqueur, sweet and sour and ginger ale, completed with a festive gummy shark within the ocean blue drink and paired with a cherry bomb shot that is made with grenadine and vodka.

Cabo Wabo has also added a Sammy Hagar-favorite, the Hog’s Tale made with Hagar’s newest spirit, Santo Mezquila, mixed with watermelon puree, honey, lemon juice, rimmed with kosher salt and garnished with a slice of bacon.

Additional summer cocktails include the White Peach Margarita, made with a vibrant blend of Cazadores Blanco, white peach syrup, peach nectar, fresh lime juice and sweet and sour; the Painkiller, a sweet combination of Bacardi Cuatro, Coco Lopez, fresh orange juice and pineapple juice; the Cucumber Mule, made with Ketel One vodka, muddled cucumber and fresh lime juice, topped with ginger beer; the Strawberry Passion Vojito, created with a blend of Strawberry Skyy vodka, passionfruit syrup and ginger ale, rimmed with lime wedges and fresh mint. Cabo Wabo Cantina Swims into Shark Week with Jaw-Dropping Cocktail

 

Sipping for sharks! Cabo Wabo Cantina will serve an ocean-themed cocktail in honor of Shark Week from Sunday, July 22 through Saturday, July 28.

The Shark Tank is a sharable cocktail made with Absolut Lime vodka, Blue Curacao liqueur, sweet and sour and ginger ale, mixed for two or more in a 50-ounce Cabo Wabo souvenir glass, priced at $48. Found within the drink, patrons may enjoy a candy gummy shark between several “shark bait” toy skeletons. To complete the cocktail, the drink is paired with a cherry bomb shot, made with grenadine and vodka, which can be taken directly from a figurine shark’s open jaw.

Cabo Wabo Cantina Gets Patriotic with Specialty Cocktail for Fourth of July

 

Party like a patriot this Independence Day at Cabo Wabo Cantina. Sammy Hagar’s rockin’ cantina will celebrate America’s birthday with a specialty cocktail and live entertainment on Wednesday, July 4.

In honor of the holiday, Cabo Wabo will offer the ‘All-American,’ made with a blend of Absolut Citron, simple syrup, sweet and sour, Sprite, grenadine and blue curaçao, priced at $13. Holiday celebrators can pair the festive cocktail with Cabo Wabo’s extensive menu of signature Tex-Mex style dishes including the nacho platter, made with a house cheese blend, beans, jalapenos, cojita cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. Patrons looking to enjoy more traditional American-style dishes can try the Jack and Coke BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, made with cheddar cheese, Jack and Coke barbecue sauce and crispy fried onions.

Cabo Wabo will continue the celebration with live entertainment by season two contender from NBC’s The Voice, Ryan Whyte Maloney, on the restaurant’s Strip-side, outdoor patio.
